Customer Reviews
A little surprise for this out of town guest of Castine during Thanksgiving holiday. Stuck in MMA residence for dinner with my son. Pizza is great and the loaded fries are hopefully to stay on the menu forever.
What a beautiful little location a beautiful spot in the world is my first time in Maine and I have truly enjoyed the hospitality at this location. The blackened chicken Caesar salad was awesome. The lady that was bartending wasn’t quite a bartender however she delivered phenomenal service. And when I come back to visit my husband’s family, we will come back. Hands-down.
Our first visit to Castine to check out Maine Maritime Academy for my son. It was the only place open in town for dinner and we just traveled three hours to settle in and have a good meal. We really wanted to like this place as the atmosphere, right on the waterfront seemed historic and fun. We also figured if it’s pub food? How can you mess that up!? The place had two people at the bar and one table of four when we walked in. We got served in a relatively quick manner but, quickly found just one more table walking in left the staff with their hands tied. I got a burger with no bun and I added bacon my burger, which cost me $21.00 with rosemary fries (the only thing they cooked right.) Now, I’m a single Mom, I’m not made of money, this was supposed to be a treat for me and my son. My son a
Local landmark. Attracts old-timers, college students, and anyone who values good food, cold beer, and a cheerful staff. Rub shoulders, converse, or play pool with the folks who make Castine such a great town. The chicken quesadilla is delicious. Highly recommend this place!
Things were great until I paid for music, and they turned the music all the way down. It was the grumpy man in my photos. So rude. After telling them about not being able to hear it, they turned it all the way off.
