Dallaire's Motel & Cottages

Our son stayed here for three weeks mid May to early June and we joined him for a few days. This is a modest, dated motel but you can't beat the price. Also, everything was clean even though it is well worn. We paid 375$ for a two bedroom cottage with functional kitchen and small living room. The towels and linens were good, clean and new. The furnishings in the rooms are all dated, our mattress sagged a bit. We did not see any maid or housekeeping the three nights we stayed but our son said there was housekeeping one a week. The check in guy was very friendly and helpful, and quickly got us more towels when we arrived. The Wi Fi is very week, but exists. We had quiet nights with no traffic noise. My wife, kids, and in-laws have stayed at Dallaire's for 2 years now and we absolutely love it! The cottage that we stayed in each time, was spotless! The pool was clean and our girls had so much fun! It's quiet and very clean. The owner and staff are so beyond nice and accommodating. My youngest daughter left her favorite teddy bear in the cottage and we did not realize it until we were already home, 2 hours away. The owner was nice enough to mail the teddy bear back to us before my daughter started kindergarten so she could bring the teddy bear with her. So incredibly pleased with them! I don't think we will spend our vacations in Maine, anywhere else.

Very good value for the money. This motel/cottages is clean, hospitable and easily accessible to Portland and Kennebunkport. Although it is on a major road, it is very quiet in the room. Very good place to sleep and travel the area. It had adequate amenities and easy access to restaurants and shopping. Overall, it is a very reasonable place to stay with rec room and stuff for the kids.

Stayed here for one night during a two day teacher in service. A cute place and very clean with a just right price. I just wish the tub stopper worked since we are currently building the house we live in and the full bath with a tub isn't quite finished. However, I can't see sticking the district another 100$ for a bath! ||I rented an efficiency for my puposes, but could see staying for a week in one of the cottages for a family vacation. It is clearly safe, quaint, and a bargain.

There are so many amenities around the location. Bus stop is right across the street. It's cheap and affordable compared to the rest of the area. The staff were very nice and welcoming. It was nice to have my own kitchenette as well. Plenty of parking as well.
