Cypress Bend Resort, a Wyndham Hotel

This resort is definitely different than others. The views are amazing. The indoor/outdoor heated pool and hot tub are nice. There’s a spa but everytime I stay it’s never open. The bar is good, restaurant is great. There is no room service though and catching the restaurant open is tricky as well. I stay about 10-12 times a year. Sometimes I get rooms where the a/c doesn’t work properly and the rooms aren’t as dated as some make them out to be. Overall it’s a great place ! Definitely ck it out

Black mold in hotel rooms. The manager named Randi is absolutely terrible! All of his staff was complaining about him behind his back constantly. The whole place was rundown… Lots of things broken and even the pool that was supposed to be heated was not working properly. I had to put in numerous complaints before they finally fixed it, but then it broke again. They put us in a room with black mold and then we move to a different room and then they put us in a room with a bed that was sagging so bad we felt like we were sleeping in a hammock. It was so miserable all night! I woke up with horrible back and neck pain. I asked if they could please find a mattress for us that was in better condition. They moved us to another room and then after we got done moving everything for the third time a

My husband and I booked this place to have our wedding just the other day Saturday March 7 2026 and everyone was wonderful. They will help with whatever you need and the food was delicious. Best venue

Positive: The location Negative: WiFi wasn't working for the entire stay which meant we had to have cash to pay for anything purchased at the hotel. The WiFi also left us without communication. The phone in the room didn?t work and the hot water wasn?t working on the last day.

I didn’t stay at the resort, this time. I simply went for the Thanksgiving Buffet that was served today and it was the BEST, it’s ever been!! And I’ve been for several years in a row!! I’m certain that Melanie Avery, had everything to do with it!! The Food was Great!! The Service was Great!! She runs a “tight ship” as I like to call it!! It’s a beautiful resort!!
