Crown Resorts at Lake Tansi

Condo was out dated. Not clean. I noticed it had hair everywhere. Literally, IN the upstairs bathroom it was everywhere on the floor and in the shower. The stand next to the couch it had hair on it and on the counter The dish towels had hair on it. The condo was loaded with hair. I suspect black mold and the down stairs bedrooms didnt smell great. They didn't have a broom or sweeper in the condo. The pool was closed by time we got back from doing stuff.

We booked a room at Lake Tansi West. The first thing we noticed were the bugs, alive and dead, next the musty smell , and finally the cracked drywall. Our entire family woke up|With headaches and sore throats. We suspected black mold . We took pictures to the manager who put us in a remodeled room for our last night. It appears Crown is allowing booking into units that are in disrepair and dangerous to the guests. I have been coming to Tansi since 1995. The units were always clean, always nice, and always cared for. Unless you are a timeshare member who gets newly updated rooms do NOT stay here. Find an AirBnB nearby. That is where my family will be staying from now on.

This is a very old Resort that has not been kept up great. The staff was amazing and very kind in terms of where you check in. I never dealt with any maintenance staff. But literally the walls were all scraped up, the toilet paper holder was in pieces when we checked in. The beds were hard as a rock and the heat only worked in the bedrooms in the bathroom the rest of the house didn't get warm unless you left all the doors open. It's just not a well-kept place. I'm surprised RCI still has her name on it.

This was a perfect place to start our tour of the waterfalls and foliage of TN. We were surprised and somewhat embarrassed to have another couple stay with us in this unit as quite a few items needed repairs. After speaking to Gail at ihefront desk, we found that Covid affected them quite a bit, so that financially they were having difficulty in maintaining and bring up to date many the units. ||However, if you love golfing and eating at world class restaurants, this will be a great place for you.

I cannot say enough good things about this property!!! The staff is absolutely amazing and the kindest group of people I have ever dealt with in the hotel business. Brant in the front office and Tahisha in Housekeeping are top notch at what they do! We loved our accommodations both times we stayed in the last 2 weeks. Yes, the homes are a bit outdated but I did not mind at all! You could literally lick the floor, it is that clean! I was in disbelief of how clean the carpet was too! We had everything we needed to cook as well! I am incredibly picky and hard to please but Crown Resorts checked off everything on my list and I will forever come back to this place if we are working in the area. The one thing I will note is how little hot water we had. In our first unit, we had about 7 minutes
