Crosswinds Rehoboth Beach

I was actually quite shocked at how good this place was for the price. It was an extremely easy check-in, completely done through after hours mailboxes. It's a millennial dream to not have to speak to a human being after a day of travel. I was thrilled. The rooms are extremely small which is to be expected, but the beds were comfortable and they provided a mini fridge, shampoo, body wash, lotion, plenty of towels and washcloths, of course TV. there's plenty of free parking and an outdoor space to smoke or relax although I didn't see anybody using it while we were here. there's no elevator, so if you can't take stairs you would have to get a bottom floor room. I thought it was really cute that they had a chair at the end of every floor on both sides for people who wanted to relax or smoke,

While the interior of this hotel has been updated, the rooms, especially bathrooms, are incredibly small. Air conditioners are effective but very loud—relentlessly so. The Crosswinds has adopted the ‘COVID Cop-out’…no housekeeping of any variety during our 3 night stay. You want new towels? Place dirty linens outside your room and then make sure you are around between 10 and 2 to go get your replacement towels. Want your trash emptied? The dumpster is over there—knock yourself out. Positives: Nathan at front desk tries to make you comfortable; close enough to beach to not need to take your car; far enough away that foot traffic of tourist zone is less. Great black out blinds. While this hotel is in the most perfect location for visiting Rehoboth Beach the cleanliness of the floors really need to be looked at better. In the first room we had the hair dryer didn't work the air conditioner rattled all night long so no one slept. Make sure if you stay here you do not take room 306 next to the laundry room There's a major hum in there that will def affect your night's sleep. Luckily we dealt with Ethan who also works at their sister Hotel down the street. He found us the right bulb and put us in a new room. It was a handicap room but it was just for one night but the floors were absolutely filthy! Oh yeah and the hair dryer was broken in there too Ethan stepped right up to the plate and got us another one! I would also like to say Patrick was the best he promised me

Positive: The very friendly and helpful desk clerk. Negative: Very minor: No facial tissues in the room. Also, in addition to the hooks on the bathroom door, towel racks would have been helpful.

Pet Friendly, small, efficient and very clean. Well located. Walking distance to everything. We enjoyed our visit and front desk staff is amazing.
