Canalside Inn

We had a wonderful experience at the Canalside Inn. We booked for SeaWitch weekend. We brought our dog with us as they are more than pet-friendly. It’s quiet and very easy to walk your dog across the street. The hotel General Manager Jennifer and the owner Bryan made us feel right at home. Coffee was made every morning. Everything was handled online and was very easy to do. You are treated like family there. Hot tub and fire pits are a plus. The owners put out beer Saturday night for the guests. Simply the best if you need dog friendly accommodations. We would highly recommend the Canalside Inn.

Had a great experience with this hotel. Good price and allows dogs. Our puppers enjoyed it and had enough room to run around a little. We had an issue where the A/C kept turning on (in January), although we kept turning it off, and the heat only kicked on in the last hour of our stay. Customer service from the hotel reached out to ask about our experience and I let them know about that issue, and they offered us 30% off future stays, so we plan to return as soon as we can.

The Inn was in a perfect location to go down Rehoboth Avenue and if you want to go to Dewy you’re at the north end of the main street however, it is tucked away in a quiet little corner, so it’s perfect. The Inn was clean and comfortable and had nice little balconies. Jennifer greeted us upon arrival and was very friendly and informative. She even went a step above and beyond by calling a local restaurant we were interested in to ensure they had Heaters on the patio and we could take our pup. It was a wonderful experience.

Super friendly, superbly clean, attention to detail, great location, super comfortable bed and pillows. Kristen and Bryan are wonderful owners who ensure your stay is phenomenal! They go above and beyond to make sure you enjoy your stay!
