Croll Cabins

Loved my stay here! The lake was super low and that didn’t even matter. Gorgeous quiet spot. Very clean and neat space, house has character for sure. Loved that the most immediate neighbors were horses. Mike and Shara were extremely kind and friendly and helpful, even after driving around like a creep, kinda lost. Will be staying here again and recommending Croll Cabins to everyone looking for a sweet quiet space to stay. Oh, lots of beds and fans!

My daughter and I have been coming to Croll Cabins at Vallecito Reservoir for over five years now—it’s become our cherished summer tradition. Each visit feels like coming home. Stayed here many times as a kid in the 80's. This was our family lake. Recently visited and stayed in the big cabin. Beautiful sunsets. Great place to bring kids, relax and fish.

It was my husband and my 25th anniversary and being that we love the outdoors we decided to get a cabin. My boss referred vallecito lake to us and that by far was the best decision ever. We stayed at the Croll Cabins and lets just say the pictures say it all. The view from our cabin was the lake and the sunset was so beautiful. I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. The owners were amazing and the guests were very friendly. I didn't want to come home. The cabin comes with paddle boards and Kayaks which I never done before until now. Had the best time ever and can't wait to return next year. Thank you for the best week/vacation I've ever had. Will definitely be back.

The place is gorgeous, fishing is great, staff are kind, only problem is there is a difference between rustic and rundown. There were loose nails in the carpet( sticking up had to pound back in to not trip) among various other small things. The basic pots and fry pans were there but there was no baking sheet. Be sure to bring your own bedding and towels. Overall the cabins were nice ( definitely not perfect ) your not going to be spending much time in the cabins enough to care. I would recommend this place to anyone. If you don't mind the great outdoors of course 😉
