Crescent Moon Inn

Nestled in the stunning red rock landscape of Kayenta, this boutique inn offers peaceful, modern suites with breathtaking views of the surrounding cliffs. We loved our upstairs room with rooftop access—watching epic sunrises, sunsets, and starry desert nights was unforgettable. The accommodations are clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully appointed (full kitchen was a nice bonus for relaxed evenings). It's the perfect quiet escape for couples or anyone seeking serenity, with easy access to art galleries, great dining at nearby Xetava Garden Cafe, and adventures like Snow Canyon. Highly recommend booking an upstairs suite for the best experience—pure tranquility in Utah's beautiful desert!

We booked this Inn as were going to Zion for the day. We did not realize until later that it was 50 miles away from the park. This did not end up being an issue at all as we enjoyed the location and the beauty of Kayenta. (Area around Zion was very touristy). We stayed two nights so were able to explore the area. This ended up being are favorite place that we stayed on our entire 11 day trip around the southwest. We stayed in an upstairs one bedroom unit which had a staircase up to a roof top deck. We spent a lot of time up there watching the sunrises and sunsets. The little neighborhood of Kayenta was beautiful. They have an arts village, a wonderful restaurant and a garden to walk around. The other thing which we were happy about was the fact that you have the larger town of St. George

My father-in-law and his wife came to visit and we recommended they stay at Crescent Moon Inn based on location and some recommendations. Their experience was amazing. We visited and the rooms were exceptional. They had plenty of space, two balconies from which to enjoy exquisite views as well as access directly from their room to the rooftop area for stargazing. We were thrilled, as were they, by the wonderfully appointed rooms and exceptional location, views and quiet. We will recommend to all of our visiting friends and family and I'm certain my father-in-law will return!

Absolutely loved our stay! We had two balconies in our room with roof access. Plus great views and ivins reservoir right behind the hotel. Kayenta art village within walking distance! Great price and exceptionally clean. Will definitely be referring and staying again in the future!! Must go!!

This is a must stay for me each year. It’s quiet, secluded, dark and minimalist. Each year, I sit out enjoying the stars on the roof top access rooms well after midnight. Enjoying the stars, listening to the night sounds and riding our bikes during the day on all the empty roads. And I love my morning breakfast in Kayenta. In fact I’m planning my reservations for this year!
