Creel Inn

Great cabins to stay in, rooms were very clean, staff was more than helpful and accommodating. We were told that the room would have a microwave but it did not, we casually brought it up while taking to the staff and they had one in it room within an hour. Seriously a great place to stay in the area. Solid 5 stars.

Sand Spring may need help with the phones as it was a little rough finding consistent communication earlier in the week, but once we arrived the owners were very friendly, helpful, and responsive. The Creel Inn is just a few minutes from the resort, river access, and the Bennett Spring State Park. The accommodations were simple but sufficient and clean with a comfortable bed, A/C, TV, shower (with plenty of hot water), minifridge, and microwave. There are shared grills and picnic tables available outside and lots of lawn space to play games. The minifridge may be limiting if you plan to keep more than a few things inside. We stayed here for a float trip and the rooms were decent! Beds super comfortable. Room wasn’t the cleanest though.

Stay here every September. Its nice to stay a little out from the park and away from partiers at Sandsprings.
