The Creekside is our favorite place for a no frills getaway in the woods. If you’re looking for a cozy, quiet, simple, relaxing getaway this is a great place for that! The rooms truly feel like you’re in a cozy cabin. The owners are the kindest people - it snowed during our stay and they made sure to shovel the snow around our car and put salt down. Our room was clean, we had no issues with cleanliness. Hot shower, cable TV, free Wi-Fi, and our bed was very soft and cozy. Our room had a microwave, coffee pot, and mini fridge. Fire rings out back with seating and wood that you may use to have a campfire. Emporium is a short drive away, where you can find restaurants, bars with entertainment, and essentials at the grocery store or the dollar store. Sizerville State Park is right behind here

The Creekside Inn is a rustic, no frills motel. Everything in the room was small—the bed, pillows, bathroom—but was very clean and not lacking in any necessities. The owners are very friendly and free with their local recommendations (which were fantastic, by the way!). The room was warm, but unfortunately there was no way for us to control the thermostat. The location is a convenient jumping off point for many areas in the PA Wilds, and we enjoyed several wild areas over our two days. My only real major complaint is the walls. They are sooooo thin. I don’t believe the people behind us truly were being loud, but we could clearly hear conversations.

There is bed bugs here. Place is filthy. I’ve been coming here for years and have never dealt with this before to this extent. Never seen a bed bug in my life til last night , seen multiple and even took them to the office. Coffee pot was filthy and gunk under it. Flooors were dirty. Don’t have a run in with the maid , she is so rude as I’ve encountered her in the past so no need to even tell her she can’t do her job right. We will never stay here again. I’ve been coming here since I was a baby , 27 years to be exact and as an adult bring my own kids here for a quick place to stay while exploring nature up here. It’s an absolute shame how run down this place has become . Only good thing about this place is the older lady and man inside the office who always go up and beyond for us.

We did love this place..love the look and the 2 older ppl that run this place is awsome! But they sprayed for bed bugs last week and didn't bother telling anyone 🙄 so we found out the hard way, with 2 bed bugs crawling on their blankets! We killed them, it was 2 am, so we waited til morning n took it to the 2 that ran the place. They told us how they sprayed n really thought they were gone. They Was so embarrassed, apparently the 'Owner' won't let the woman, that rents the hotel out, look in any of the rooms or the cleaning room cuz the cleaning lady is the owners mistress. So their not on speaking terms..so this is all we can do is write a review. I mean if the owner won't let the ones that runs the place even look into any of the rooms, then how are they gona know if the cleaning lady i

Been coming here since I was a little kid with my grandparents, and now my fiancé who I’ve been happy to share all of the things and places I love with. I have photos of me with my grandpa out front of here from years ago. This place is just so nostalgic for me. It has always been clean, cozy, and very reasonable in price. Has the atmosphere of a nice little cabin. Free bikes, firewood to use, lovely fire rings and supplies to build your fire with as well as marshmallows, utensils, and other small things that are very convenient to have available for use. Rooms have coffee pot, microwave and a large fridge to use. By far this is my favorite place to be in the wilds. Great owners and a great location!
