Cow Bells Campground

Changed my review to one star. Since this is not considered a city park apparently the police dont care much. Loud cars, speeding at all hours, loud music and loud fireworks. We're Talking M80s, 5 in a row. The locals are rude and dont care if campers are here. Will never come back to this place.

Another awesome campground. Lots of shade trees. 8-29 its 78 degrees. Perfect! Please donate to help the city. We'll I'm not giving it 5 stars because of the generators. There's a few of them running. They only lasted an hour.

The park is pretty. Lots of shade trees however you can also have a sunny spot. Spots are pretty near all level, or almost The negative... we didn't enjoy the local kids driving fast through the park late into the night. The restrooms were not clean. The water is clearly marked as non potable. You have been warned. We were a little uneasy with a homeles person camped under the picnic table close to us. Had there not been all the negatives we would have stayed more than 1 night. We came through last year also. Same issues but for the homeless person.

Free. Beautiful. Open Cottonwood canopy over grass. Scattered fire rings. They just refurbished and reopened the toilets. Non-potable water. Locals like to drive here for fishing or lunch in their vehicles. Some are rather noisy. Some fishermen. Walking trails nearby. Self/contained only at this time- no tents.

Enjoyed my visit here. I stopped to pitch my tent while pedaling through. I wish there were more inexpensive community campgrounds like this. The friendly sheriff let me know the water is a bit alkaline. Hah, no wonder those were the worst instant noodles of my life! There are quite few locals passing through. They were all friendly after reaching out and greeting them.
