Covered Bridge Riverview Lodge

I absolutely loved this place! The hosts were incredibly kind and went above and beyond to accommodate us. When we were running late, they graciously adjusted their schedule to ensure we could arrive safely. The room was beautiful with stunning views, and the cozy atmosphere made it feel like a true home away from home. The beds were exceptionally comfortable, and every detail exceeded our expectations. I highly recommend this hidden gem to anyone seeking a peaceful and enchanting escape!

Let me start by saying that I love older hotels, but this one hasn’t ever been updated and it’s not clean. Both chairs in the room where so stained that we were afraid to sit down. There is a 2nd door at the back of the room that leads to a hall and other rooms. This door is hollow, like a closet door, easily broken into and definitely not safe. The owner was unreasonable and rude. She told us we should have come and inspected the room before we made the reservation. Who does that? She also said that she isn’t responsible for customer satisfaction and that she herself has no expectations when she travels. That’s obvious. We, on the other hand require a secure, clean room and nice staff when we travel. That’s a minimum requirement for us. Don’t book this place. It’s a bait and switch and s

PLACE IS A SCAM! DO NOT BOOK HERE! I should’ve gone off the reviews prior to booking but it was super inexpensive and we just needed somewhere to sleep after skiing for the weekend so my expectations were low. The owner “ Priscilla” as others have described is an absolute nightmare. I booked through hotels.com and it must’ve defaulted to adult because I never put the amount of guests in, but the room was reserved for 2 queen beds so common sense it’s for multiple people. We drove 3 hours from out of state and she refused us because we had 1 adult and multiple small children. We travel to New Hampshire all the time as we ski frequently and have never ran into an issue at any hotel with the amount of guests. I asked for a refund since she was refusing to accommodate us, she refused and told

Very cozy hotel. Location was great. The outside seating by the brook was wonderful. The access the coffee and tea were appreciated. The bagel breakfast was convenient. The room with the balcony was good. I was concerned with the glass in the door a bit broken. I just didn't want to be responsible for it. I called and she said she knew about it. Also, the remote for the TV wouldn't work. I think it needed batteries. Overall, it was a pleasant stay. We enjoyed talking to the owner very much.

We had a beautiful river view from our room. The staff were very helpful. Our room was comfortable and the price was affordable. No complaints. Peaceful, quiet location within close driving distance to shopping and restaurants.
