Courtyard by Marriott Pittsburgh Greensburg

Location was great, Hotel was clean and most of the staff were great. However on my 3rd day of a 5 night stay I received a charge on my card while I was at work. When I called the hotel to inquire about the charge, I was met with hostility and down right attitude by the lady at the front desk. Her reply was " I don't know, I am not a computer, call your company, which made no sense since my company has nothing to do with what the hotel was charging me.When I asked if she could check what was being charged to my room, she replied she couldn't, then said you have been here by ( it was my first time staying there), you should know , you have been here plenty of times. Overall it was a good stay with a clean room/bathroom and a comfortable bed. The showers were confusing to work and the water got absurdly hot it was actually a hazard. The location is good, pretty quiet but there’s a lot of places to eat/shop right there with a smokeybones in walking distance. Don’t expect a nice view but there’s parking situation was convenient. Staff was friendly, management - not so much. They refused to remove the taxes despite showing them multiple tax exempt documentation. Also there’s a “self-parking fee” whatever that means ??

We just stayed here for one night for a tournament in the area so I can't give a thorough review because I feel we didn't stay long enough to assess the whole hotel.||First, the hotel is nice and is in a great location right by a lot of stores and restaurants. Really clean common areas. The front desk agent was very friendly. Our room and bathroom were very clean. The bathroom amenities were fully stocked, such as shampoo, conditioner, body wash, soaps, etc. My husband and I traveled alone and neither had complaints about the bed or bedding. Could hear some traffic noise in our room and occasionally could here noise in the hallway.||We did visit the pool/hot tub area. The hot tub was a little cold for a hot tub but we still did use it. Website mentions newly renovated but a 6 night stay had me in search of said renovations. The lobby was cold in more ways than one with less than inviting front desk staff. I was there for a work trip and this hotel was less than 5 min from my work destination. I’m more than certain I’ll stay elsewhere for a better experience and accommodations when I return even if it means being further away.

Positive: Cleanliness and amenities offered Negative: The hot tub, one of the main reasons why I booked my first stay was out of order for both of the dates I stayed this last week. If my room was refundable, I would have searched for another hotel with the same available amenities.
