Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Valley Forge/Collegeville

My husband and I stayed on the night of our wedding which was in Collegeville PA. The hotel location is super easy to get to. The rooms are clean and modern. Booking online was super easy. We got a surprise complimentary room upgrade to a one bedroom suite which was amazing! The room was large had a couch and sitting room with a little kitchenette setup and everything We were also given complimentary vouchers for breakfast at the hotels cafe which was extra fantastic bc they have Starbucks! A few friends stayed at this location as well and had nothing but great things to say.

We were celebrating my 70th birthday with friends, who drove in from out of state. We checked in at different times but Shane and Sarah, at the check-in desk, happily obliged, our request for rooms near each other. They could not have been more pleasant. When they heard we were going into nearby Phoenixville for dinner, they offered us the use of their shuttle. Tom was the shuttle driver who turned the drive to dinner into a party with his music selections|We could not have been any happier with our choice of hotel. Our rooms were immaculate and comfortable. Every staff member we met was pleasant and accommodating.|We will definitely return to the courtyard Marriott in Collegeville

Positive: "" Negative: I was charged $250 for vomitting on the floor. Luckily the carpets are dark but I was charged a deep cleaning fee which I was not happy about.

In general quite old hotel. At least bed and pillows are comfortable. What for me was unacceptable is their policy to change towels only every other day and clean/make-up the room never during the stay. First time in my life I see that. I am ok with hotels suggesting this as an option, but not a mandatory situation that you can’t revert. Breakfast is basically a selection of options from a menu in a bar.

Stayed here for a wedding for two nights. Room was very clean but we found the pillows very small, flat and uncomfortable which I see other reviews mention but clearly hasn’t been resolved. The AC/heat thermostats in the room are also hard to figure out, another thing that has been mentioned. I was able to figure it out to warm up the room but it took a couple tries, a note or something to guide guests on how to set the temp would be much appreciated. Lastly, the cafe in the lobby is only open until 9:30 am. That seems way too early for the weekends when people are out late for weddings and don’t want to go far for breakfast. Inconvenient for guests and likely lots of lost sales for the hotel since many others wanted to get breakfast too but had to go somewhere nearby. All together, a good
