Courtyard by Marriott Philadelphia Coatesville Exton

On Sunday Jan 18th at 8pm we were caught in a snowstorm and pulled into this Courtyard Marriott. We were from out of town and had a tour a local wedding venue. (We booked the venue). The snowstorm was bad and the roads were treacherous…. We pulled into the Courtyard parking lot to take a safe break from the roads. My daughter and her fiancé went in to use the bathroom and take a look at the lobby since we may be booking rooms there. The woman at the front desk immediately told them to leave because they weren’t guests and she refused to let them use the bathroom. THE WEATHER WAS HORRIBLE! They were interested in seeing the lobby. She wouldn’t let them use the bathroom in the MIDDLE OF A SNOWSTORM? Is this how MARRIOTT TREATS PEOPLE? Seriously? I am platinum elite for life….AND COMPLETELY

From setting up reservation to the end at checkout we had absolutely no complaints. From the front desk to the individuals in the kitchen as well as the cleaning staff, everyone was very professional and accommodating, even following up to ensure our stay went well. It is an older hotel so the furniture is somewhat worn but the rooms were clean and neat. They were great helping us in every way. Thanks so much for everything!

Check in and out went easy and fast. Hotel staff was amazing. Room was great and up to standards. BUT the bar was the highlight of my whole trip. It was the best experience I’ve ever had at a hotel bar. STEPHEN was amazing, and such a funny guy. He needs a raise! We came down for a nightcap and ended up spending the whole night hanging at the bar and ordering drinks - best customer service hands down!! We will definitely be coming back to this hotel!

Let's just say I usually like this place. This time will be the last. Made a reservation over the phone arrived and no reservation in the computer. Then needed towels and told staff in am and came back to no towels. The only highlight in this place is the front desk worker Jennifer. She helped us with a new reservation and getting us towels. She is the only reason I gave service a one as that was just for her.
