Stopped here on my way back down home from a northern trip. Place is very clean, nice spacious campsites and the staff was great. There are alot of seasonal campsites but it's not unkept like most campsites, it's clean and organized nicely. And very quiet. Would definitely come again if it was along my route.
Campground could be very nice. It’s very clean with lots of open grassy areas. Nice dog park. The cons. Sites are on top of each other. When we arrived there was a huge RV in the site next to us. Its slides were over our picnic table. The 2 sites on the other side of us were open so I ran to the office to see if we could move. We were told no because they were totally booked and we could move the table. No one moved into those sites the whole 5 days we were there. The majority of the campground are seasonal and many rundown trashy sites. EVERYONE has golf carts and just ride them around the place for pleasure. It got very annoying as it was constant and no one obeying the 5 mph speed limit. Pool area was nice but very small and crowded. Sites were not level but they do have cinder blocks a
Stayed in a tent site. They allow drinking alcohol at the campground, which I thought was neat at first, since not a lot of campgrounds allow it. I read the campground rules and they seemed to care a lot about campers making sure they don’t get drunk and loud and respect other campers. Well, that’s not at all what it was like and there are literally NO campground staff around enforcing any rules whatsoever after dark. The RV campers were loud and rowdy, drinking alcohol until 2am until I finally had enough and had to go ask them to kindly shut up so we could get some sleep. The whole campground could hear them. No after-hours number to call for staff or anything, so you’re on your own if you don’t want to call the police to handle something, which is annoying. If you’re going to allow alc
The The maintenance crew here are excellent and really on top of their job The owner Mary is professional and approachable! :-)
Nice campground that caters to mostly seasonal. The transient sites are nice and clean, gravel with full hookups. Very quiet and grassy out the door. We had an electrical problem with our coach and there's a tenant on site that got us fixed up and ready to hit the road again. My only complaint is that there are several seasonal sites that are very rundown with lots of trash around them.
