Courtyard by Marriott New York Queens/Fresh Meadows

My family has stayed twice at this hotel and we've had overall positive experiences. The rooms are quiet, comfortable, and up-to-date. During my most recent stay, I did need to request more towels (a lot more towels) because of the small number in our room upon arrival. The number of restaurants within walking distance is very good. My only complaint during my recent visit was the lack of hospitality upon check-out. The woman working the front desk was aloof and spoke only the words "You can leave your key in the box." I asked for my car to be delivered and she made a call to the valet. After that, she looked down at her work and said nothing more. My bill, including parking, totaled nearly $700. A simple "thank you" or "have a nice day" would have been all it took to be profess

I have to say that Marriott should be thoroughly ashamed of putting their name to this hotel. The whole experience from start to finish was awful. Check in lasted 30 minutes as two incompetent staff flustered around trying to find a room that was clean. I was on the verge of leaving but it was late so I persisted and waited for a room. The hotel is also not very clean, corridors and lift scattered with bits of rubbish. It all felt quite shabby. Upon check in the room was fine but pillows were awful and the room noisy. The front facing rooms all face a busy highway with constant traffic noise. Breakfast was very basic with a voucher covering a breakfast roll and cup of coffee. My room wasn’t cleaned the following day, I don’t know why but I had already decided to check out so didn’t complai

I had an incredible experience with a hotel team member at bar/restaurant. Her name is Anny Fernandez. She is the type of team member who goes above and beyond in making sure every single interaction is the correct one with her customers, she goes the extra mile. I simply ordered a bagel with bacon, egg and cheese for my wife, but the bread was too thick for her, Anny offered a bun. It was excellent, the best I have had in NYC. But what we loved the most, was her caring and willingness to help attitude. She provides outstanding customer service.This is a plus and something hard to find nowadays. To save your time and money , don’t even try to book any room online there unless you do it in person. They have the tendency to cancel reservations after confirming that everything went through. I booked a room 02/13 for a check in 02/14 at 3pm and pay everything, it went through and I have received the confirmation number. After that I decided to call the hotel for a double confirmation, the guy in the phone wasn’t that professional but he confirmed to me that my booking is in their system and it went through. The next day I arrived from my trip to the hotel , and they have the audacity to them me I didn’t book, I gave them the confirmation number and show them the proof and the lady told me yes she saw my confirmation but they canceled it cause they are out of room . I was so desperate

Myself and 2 coworkers were scheduled to be here 3 nights. Before we even spent the first night we cancelled the next 2. The rooms are clean, however there is wallpaper peeling off the walls, holes in the walls, not the greatest area…but I’m writing this as I’m laying here trying to sleep at nearly 1am on a Sunday night and there have been multiple cars pull up to the front drive BLASTING music for 30+ minutes at a time. The road noise is LOUD. And I’m not someone who is usually bothered by that at all. Honking, people screaming out car windows, race cars loudly speeding down the highway.
