Courtyard by Marriott Los Angeles Hacienda Heights/Orange County

This is my first time staying at this location, and I had nothing but a pleasant experience. Because I was traveling in and had my fur-child with me, I needed a place that would allow her to stay. I called Courtyard by Marriott-Hacienda Heights and asked them a few questions. Once all was said and done and that my fur-child was allowed, I booked my room. When I walked in to check-in, the lady (didn’t catch her name) was very nice and had recalled our conversation. She once again went over what we discussed and then gave me my room keys and I was on my way. The room was definitely big enough for myself and my little fur-child. Clean hotel with a helpful staff. There was a noisy wall air unit I could find no way to turn off. Neither of the 2 wall control units worked and no controls on the unit itself. I was cold all night and was so frustrated that I wanted to cut the power cable. I just suffered through it. Other than that, it was a nice room.

I’ve stayed here many times and usually everything is great. The check-in staff was very nice, but the person at check-out was unprofessional. I understand the invoice has to come from a third party, but giving me a blank one with no details is just careless — especially when other staff have done it properly before. Really disappointing this time.

Very disappointing stay and poor front desk handling. I booked a standard double room, but when I checked in around 9pm after a long trip, the front desk assigned me a disability-accessible room without informing me. The room was located on the second floor, and there was no clear elevator signage, so we had to drag two heavy suitcases through a very long hallway while exhausted. When we finally reached the room, it was smelly, and the bathroom smelled even worse. The biggest issue was that the shower head was completely broken — no water came out at all. I immediately called the front desk to request a room change. Instead of apologizing, the receptionist insisted that I had booked a disability room, which was not true and not shown anywhere in my reservation. Only after pointing out the

I had an excellent experience staying at this hotel! The staff is friendly, helpful, and very customer service oriented. They really went the extra mile to ensure we were comfortable and taken care of. I found the hotel to be very clean and well-appointed with coffee, mini fridge, and microwave in room. Beautiful pool and large patio with a gas fire pit, bar open until 10 most nights and after that closed, drinks and snacks available for purchase at the front desk. Guest laundry room was a nice plus. Hotel is located in a safe location and well-lit parking lot. Highly recommend and would definitely stay here again!
