The location of the hotel is good - close to Century City, Beverly Hills and not far from Santa Monica. The room was fine - nothing special. The beds are pretty comfortable but our room, despite windows, was dark. It faced a wall - literally feet away. The room was on the small side. I'm a gold elite member so I guess that was the "good" room? Things missing: no outlet or charging ability on one side of the bed which was really inconvenient. Also, the bathroom area ( the toilet and shower were in a room with a glass door) with a sink in the walkway as you enter the room (weird!) had NO hooks to hang clothes, towels, etc. Also inconvenient. For the price, you think the room would be cleaned every day - NOPE! I think there are probably better value hotels in the area. A plus is that there is
Location is nothing spectacular, it’s a regular decent clean hotel right next to century city downtown. Staff are friendly and professional. The cafe here is quite nice, it has breakfast, (maybe it has lunch) and dinner. I am vegetarian and I was able to find good food here. They no longer have their veggie patty but I found that they were willing to substitute with avocado which made for a nice dinner. Their breakfast is really good and their kitchen staff are very accomadating. Healthy enough too I might add. There’s a nice park nearby and there’s a lot of nearby eats! There’s the century city mall nearby and there’s a lot of high class shops and it loads of fun to be there. Me and my mom go to this Hong Kong style eatery nearby and it’s good for brunch. It’s called “Dim Sum House” g
After seeing reviews that the rooms facing the roads are noisy, we requested for a quiet room which faced the terrace. Room was very spacious but beds were on the smaller side. There is nothing much nearby aside from the supermarket opposite, so it’s nice to have included breakfast so we can fuel up. Service was nice and the restaurant workers were lovely. There is a small gym which is useful. If I visit LA again, I would probably choose a livelier area but it was a good stay nonetheless.
Nothing too bad to say about the rooms and the stay itself, but had a very unpleasant experience with one of the front desk ladies, Natasha. I was in town for a work trip and when my coworker and I were checking in they told us we needed a card for incidentals, so we contacted our management and they sent whatever form over to get that sorted out. We got our keys, and thought we were good to go. Then an hour and a half later we get a phone call from Natasha telling us the card was flagged as fraud and we needed to pay with our cards or we couldn’t stay. At this point it’s 9pm. They locked us out of the room, and our management told us they charged the card multiple times… which of course would get a card flagged for fraud. I can’t help, but wonder why she did that other than to spite us. W
Stayed here for just one night of a business trip. Convenient parking and super nice valet guys were helpful even for self parking. Unique setup for this seemingly small hotel with only one elevator, but gorgeous renovated and clean rooms. I loved having the little balcony and sliding door to enjoy the breeze. Doors are very effective at blocking out the street noise. It was also quiet within the hotel itself. Shower had great water pressure and bed was comfortable. What more could you want? Will definitely stay here again.
