Courtyard by Marriott Fort Worth West at Cityview

We arrived on Sunday afternoon of Memorial Day weekend expecting to see many people and a lot of activities happening. We had been promised a hot tub which I was looking forward to because of whiplash. The tub had been inspected and was then shut down two days before we arrived. That was disappointing, but better if it was not up to standard. There was construction throughout the lobby and the whole first floor areas. Our room was set up for two people and we had three. We needed to get another set of towels and another set of coffee makings. The staff was cooperative with our requests even though we had to make them for both nights. The wind howled through the window. The door then rattled due to the wind. Our concerns were brought to the attention of the manager as we were checking out.

From the moment I arrived, the customer service was exceptional—every staff member was friendly, attentive, and genuinely committed to making my stay comfortable. The room was spotless and felt fresh, without any harsh chemical smell. The AC and heater worked perfectly, keeping the room at the ideal temperature day and night. Breakfast was a major highlight. The complimentary selection included omelets, eggs, waffles, coffee, tea, water, and more—plenty of options to start the morning off right. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy, and the elevators worked flawlessly. The location is incredibly convenient, surrounded by shops, restaurant

I enjoyed every minute of my stay here. I loved the Jacuzzi tub & pool- so relaxing. And they have a beautiful outdoor patio area with flowers and a fountain! The room was super clean, smelled fresh, and very comfortable. Also the complimentary omelet and waffles in the morning was the perfect way to end the trip. We will definitely stay here again!

Positive: The breakfast and the gathering areas, especially the fire pit area. Nice gym too. Liked have ample water available in lobby. Negative: Extremely loud next to a busy interstate with middle of the night racing motorcycles, extremely loud guests running/screaming at each other in the hallways in the middle of the night. Only a small mirror in the bathroom, needed a large mirror in main room

The hotel seems recently updated and the rooms are decent except for an unusual odor. The reason for the one star is due to the greeting upon entrance from NICOLE at the front desk. As I began check in, she told me no rooms were available currently. I pre-booked an early check in, and it was confirmed due to ambassador elite status. The app said “check in time 12.(see my photo below). Rather than contact housekeeping she continued to battle with me, offering no resolution. It would’ve been fine if I didn’t have a tight schedule… but her rudeness was crazy. She eventually walked off mumbling something about getting her manager and about me just arguing with her. The manager came out, told her to call house keeping, and instantly found me a room that was ready. Kudos to the manager on duty.
