Courtyard by Marriott Edgewater NYC Area

Had a reservation booked but due to an ice/snow storm, one where they were saying to stay off of the roads. i could not make it. Hotels.com said they understood and would give me a one time exemption due to mother nature, they called the hotel, the manager at the desk said no one, no expentions. Marriott wanted me to frive my family thru an ice storm, that is the time of busines they are. Never staying at a Marriott again.

I recently stayed at the Courtyard by Marriott for two nights in room 415. Overall, my stay was pleasant, and I want to start by saying the staff were very kind and courteous. The location was also perfect and very convenient for everything we needed during our visit. However, there were a few issues that affected our comfort. The mattress in our room was extremely worn, with a noticeable sink that made it uncomfortable to sleep on. When the sheets were removed, we also noticed a yellow stain on the mattress protector, which was concerning. In addition, the shower was leaking. The refrigerator in the room was not working. We contacted the front desk, but unfortunately, it could not be repaired or replaced. This was especially concerning since we had medications that required refrigeratio

Very noisy rooms specially at night!! I was staying at room #236 and the room on top of me was very loud to a point I thought that the hotel is *******!!!

This review is long overdue, but definitely deserved. The hotel was nice, clean, comfortable, and just what we needed for our brief getaway. What truly stood out, though, was the exceptional service. Gloria was absolutely wonderful. We were celebrating my husband’s birthday, and she went above and beyond to make his stay memorable — even surprising him by leaving a thoughtful gift and card in our room while we were out. We were genuinely touched by her kindness, as well as the graciousness of the entire staff. Thank you for a good stay!

Everything was good, access to NYC was easy & the lady at the front desk provided us bus information to do that. Room spacious, although walls or floor may have been a bit thin since we could hear our upstairs neighbor pretty loudly. Curtain did a good job at blacking the window out. Parking garage was nice & affordable. Reason for one less star is the breakfast. Bad on us for not realizing it wasn’t complimentary but there’s no signage that makes sense. Furthermore on day #1 we were never served a bill & on day #2 a girl rudely plopped a bill down on our table with no greeting or explanation, she was just the Starbucks attendant on her phone when we first walked in.
