Courtyard by Marriott Daytona Beach Speedway/Airport

The stay was great! Staff were very nice, rooms clean and quiet. I would have given a 5 star, except this morning at 3:45am, when an airport shuttle was supposed to be waiting for me, there was none! I couldn’t find a staff person for nothing!! I yelled, knocked on the manager door, went in and out the front door. No one was around. I had to last minute Uber or I would have missed my flight. I was assured by three different staff members that this was available and I was on the list.

I would like to share my amazing experience in Daytona at the courtyard! Everything was spot on the staff was amazing front desk, from keeping the room clean to the bar and food service. The aesthetic pleasing of the entire hotel. But I’d like to give a special shout out to Valerie behind the bar, and candy who took care of our room! Thank you for these wonderful ladies. Positive: The location. Negative: Yes, there was no microwave in the room or a continental breakfast. It seems the hotel relies more on its name, being a Marriott hotel, than true customer service.

Really disappointed with this property, had called to ensure they had a hot tub- what wasn't mentioned is that is was out of service and clearly had been for sometime with no intentions of it being fixed in the near future. This was actually the whole reason we picked this property as we were working 10 hour days and just wanted to come back get in a hot tub and relax. The rooms were clean enough but obviously aged, however there was a moldy smell in the room after the house keeping air freshener dissipated... Overall the evening staff were nice and had an extra pillow and blanket up to our room quickly. The morning staff didn't acknowledge you as they were on their phone unless you said good morning to them first. For the amount of points I had to dump into this stay I was not at all impr

Had a nice stay. The Dinner offerings were perfect for my work-inside-room and not go out. Nice full bar, beer and wine. Checkin was easy and awesomely friendly and helpful. The location is really nice, not directly on International Speedway Blvd but accessible from multiple points. A few kinks that can be worked out. I look forward to returning.
