Courtyard by Marriott Columbia Cayce

Stayed here for 4 nights for a business trip and it was pretty average overall—nothing really stood out, good or bad. The room was clean enough and the bed was comfortable, which is the main thing I care about. Wi-Fi worked fine without any drops, and the AC was decent. Check-in was quick, and the front desk staff were polite, though not particularly friendly or helpful beyond the basics. Breakfast (if included or at the restaurant) was standard hotel fare—eggs, pastries, coffee—but nothing fresh or exciting. The pool area looked nice but was crowded when we went, and the gym was small with older equipment. A couple of minor annoyances: the hallway carpets felt a bit worn, and there was some noise from the elevator or neighboring rooms at night. Parking was convenient but added to the cost

Great location! Nice people, great for dogs. ||Perfect location and close to campus. Lots of space abd grass for your dogs and they have a waste station. ||Room was a king and had plenty of space. Shower was awesome. Starbucks in the lobby was a bonus. Great visit!

The staff was friendly, courteous and very helpful. Always someone at the front desk. Business center was great for WIFI access. Pool was open but very small. More like a dipping pool than a full size swimming pool. Gym was great. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I traveled with 2 teenagers, one had to sleep on the sofa bed. Not the most comfortable as expected for a sofa bed but no double queen rooms were available at the time that I booked. Easy access to shopping areas. The bistro was open but we did not eat there so I can't rate the food. Overall good stay. Will stay here again if we are in the area.

Wonderful hotel and great staff. Been staying in this hotel for almost a year due to my work and never had an issue. The staff is very accommodating to make sure I have the same room each week of my stay. The only issue i have is that the exit door on the south end of building is broken. Have talked to staff and management about this and it been broken for over a year not allowing you enter but you could exit. Well this morning 2/19/2026 I tried to exit the building and the door would not open at all. Which is a major safety issue due to it being an emergency fire exit also. I hoping this gets the doot fixed or will have to contact the state fire Marshall about this issue.

I’ve stayed at this location many times. Due to work and travelling it’s our usual go too for Pipeline business and stays. However, on this particular last minute trip, we go inside to see if we can obtain a room and was met with extreme rudeness from the girl behind the counter constantly telling us “we should’ve pre planned” and “that’s not her problem sounds like us”. I understand rooms are booked, nothings available etc. but looking us up and down judging our work clothes not only is rude but pisses me off. I’ll be sure to take future business elsewhere. I encourage other blue collar stayers to avoid this location.
