Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Topeka West, KS

The people that work at this facility are fantastic! They will do their very best to help. It was the most comfortable stay. This is the only hotel in Topeka that I will stay at. The accommodations are great. The pool is great. The hot tub is even better and the staff is fantastic. Their breakfast meals are always hot and it’s always full. You never see it run out and the people in the kitchen always keep the counters clean, food full, and tables cleaned. You can tell the employees, all of them, at this facility take pride in what they do! No one could ask for a better hotel to stay at!!

William Hayes the manager was phenomenal. He made my husband and service animal feel like celebrities. Like we were all special. I hope he knows he is special and I have been pretty down lately due to life and struggles but he made it all disappear during our stay and I want to thank him from the bottom of my heart! You guys are lucky to have him here. We will definitely be back. Great hotel and service!!

For the price of this room, I expected the floor to be cleaner and wish it didn't have carpet. Also the hallway looked a little dingy. Not bad, but not great-looking. But I was very happy to see the mattress and pillows were encased and I did not find any sign of bugs anywhere. And I didn't hear any other guests during my stay. And not a lot of places will allow cats (many "pet-friendly" hotels are really only dog-friendly) but this chain does, so I appreciate that! Breakfast was fine, and they even had doughnut holes :)

Good points Room was actually bigger than expected and was clean. Breakfast had decent selection. Check in and out was easy. Love that they allow pets with no hassle! Needs improvement on Bed was uncomfortable (sagging in the middle) no support. This was noticed by many in our party. Several in our party had to bring their key card down due to it not working. A few people even had to bring key down more than once throughout visit. Back packing lot was very dark and didn’t feel safe leaving vehicle back there.
