Despite being a non-smoking hotel, our fourth floor room smelled distinctly of marijuana. After standing our ground a bit and insisting that it was not just the air freshener, they gave us a new room on the first floor. The beds and pillows were pretty uncomfortable. I found myself wanting my own bed every night. The TV had lots of channels and was nice! The shower was nice too. The AC/heater unit also worked well and didn't make loud noises (unlike our neighbors--this hotel should have enforced quiet hours for screaming children running around). The pool was cozy and actually heated! The staff even offered to heat it more for us. The breakfast was alright. Bread, bagels, muffins, cereal, yogurt, scrambled eggs, biscuits, and sausage/fried chicken patties and waffles were the options. The
The property was clean and is in a great location. We have stayed here a couple of times over the past two months. The cleaning crew is very loud. They woke us up every morning. You can hear them throughout the whole floor that they are working on. They talk loudly and laugh as if the hotel is empty. Also, there is very limited parking. If you don’t get there early in the day, you have to park at a lot the next street over.
We had an enjoyable stay, the front desk women was great. She always had a smile and was very helpful. The only draw back we had upon arriving, our room had a distinct musty smell. The room was then sprayed with some sort of deodorant and it was better. The bed was comfy and firm, the hotel was quiet even when it was full. It is an older motel, but location was good, room was clean, breakfast was good and staff were friendly and helpful. All in all it was a good place to stay.
I've stayed here on 3 separate occasions and I think service is 5 stars, location 5 stars, but I give 4 stars on the room because sometimes the rooms feel very humid and wet, I can't explain it but some rooms have this feeling more than others. For the price I can't complain at all, and its a great hotel. Other than that would recommend and continue staying again. Front desk is always nice, good people.
The staff was very nice. The breakfast was good. They had omelets, chicken patties ,biscuits and gravy and fried potatoes. The pool was big and warm. We saw a bear right off our two story balcony 😳❤️. It was very close to the strip for easy access.
