Country Inn & Suites by Radisson, Frackville (Pottsville), PA

I want to start by Saying a big Thank You to the 2 ladies behind the desk on 3/6/2026.I think their names were Samantha and Bree. My husband and I were traveling from NC heading to Vt.We just got done driving 7.5 hours and where totally exhausted.We thought we would just get on 81 north and stop in Wilkes Barre, but ended up hitting the worst fog at 6:30pm and could not see 2 feet in front of us. I searched out the nearest hotel.Which brought us to the country Inn & suites.(very grateful). I was greeted with smiles, kindness,and extremely helpful. Our room was very clean and very comfortable. I look forward to going back and hope the same 2 girls at the front desk.Highly recommend.

Our stay was over valentine's day weekend. It was a very great experience. They hired a new staff member (she has darker red hair) I regretfully forgot her name, but she effectively managed a crowd, and everyone, including my family and friends, appreciated her kindness and diligence. After last stay with the way the staff talked negative and complained all the time. We decided to give this hotel another chance, and we are glad we did, thanks to her exceptional service. She personally delivered towels to our room upon request and ensured our key worked properly, all while working independently, answering phones, and managing breakfast duties. I called a week before arrival to upgrade our room to a family suite. I spoke with Bre and she told me that we could however we couldn't have the room on Saturday night. We were ok with that. Upon arriving at the hotel Bre was there to check us in and told us that we now had the family suite for our whole stay. It was wonderful that she was able to accommodate us on short notice. The room was clean and inviting. The ac/heat was a bit tricky to work but we found what worked best for us. The door between the bedroom and the sitting room was a wonderful touch that we weren't aware of. Housekeeping did not clean our room on the first night so I asked at the desk if she could clean it for us day 2. Our family had two rooms for one night. The first thing we noticed on entering our room was that it was freezing; was it too much to ask to have a little heat? The beds were comfortable and it was quiet. We appreciate it the invigorating, warm shower and the large thick bath towels. However the shower drained slowly and there was no hair dryer in the room. The shampoo dispenser did not work. We would have appreciated an extra blanket or two but the bar soap was a nice touch when some hotels have done away with it.

First let me start my saying Bre needs a raise! When I checked in, she literally was handling multiple things at once. She was on a call, as well as directing the other young lady on what to do for me. My stay overall was fine. The only downside was that there were bugs( not bed bugs) in my room and a hair on the bathtub. Now, the service was very good and speedy. Given the fullness of the parking lot, I’m sure the housekeepers were trying their best to get the rooms turned at a reasonable time.
