Had the pleasure of staying at one of these condos for an event at Jiminy Peak, where the Eastern States Cup race series was holding its 2025 downhill mountain biking series finals. My condo was spacious, well appointed, clean and comfortable; it had more than everything I needed. Fabuous! Wish I'd taken pictures. But what made this place even more special was the service I got from the front desk. My car broke down in Lanesborough, requiring me to spend the last day of my planned stay getting it fixed. The staff member(s) I spoke with over the phone and in person were very understanding. They worked with me on a late checkout, giving me the time I needed to get the car sorted. They were courteous, kind, professional and sympathetic. Really meant a lot to me. I will definitely be staying h
We went to Jiminy for a short summer vacation. The staff here is phenomenal. Everyone was so friendly and kind - think Disney on steroids customer service. The resort was nice overall. Our condo was well appointed and clean with ample room and a full kitchen and washer and dryer. The pool was a favorite of my kids. The alpine adventure and mountain adventure were a blast. It wasn’t very crowded (mid-week visit) so my kids literally got off the mountain coaster and right back on many times! The food at the tavern was good. The only negative was the prices at the grocery on site. 1/2 gallon of milk was $5! There is not too much nearby so you have to drive 15 minutes to get to restaurants or stores but we did t mind that.
Arriving at Jiminy Peak to check into our timeshare swap- there isn’t clear signage about where to go. |(It’s at the John Harvard sign)||Given directions to our unit (34) and an actual key. |Unit looked fair from outside but you can already see screens on the ground and rotted wood. |Opening the door- whew- musty/smoky. Smoke must be embedded in all the fabric because it smelled like that every time we came back. ||We couldn’t open all of the windows because many were missing screens or had holes. ||Pro- beds were comfortable but squeaky. Towels were okay but bring your own toiletries- except soap. ||Another thing to bring is all of your food since the closest supermarket will 25 minutes away one way and 45 the other way. ||Food in the nearest restaurants was expensive- especially at the o
I own in the building. The gyms covered in black mold. They refuse to clean it or fix the issue. Dangerous for families. Also, not water pressure for 2 years. Don't recommend it. Stay at the Wyndham.
The room definitely needs some updating but we found it clean and comfortable enough. Service is excellent as the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful - that's why I'm giving it four stars instead of three. Easy access to the mountain and the rest of Jiminy Peak all within walking distance. A complimentary locker was provided for our ski gear which was a plus. Our biggest problem was the mattress - it needed to be replaced five years ago, lol.
