Country Acres Campground & Fun Park

We had camped there since 2014, had family seasonal there. We only ever went for weekends. It was a nice family campground and our daughter and all the kids we had taken over the years always had fun. We didn't make it last year and after reading the reviews I was glad we didn't waste our time or $$. Now reading these this year I am still skeptical about going as we didn't book anything for here this year. Sounds like it is hit skip and miss. I am sure some things were older when this company bought it but the kids stuff was nice and it was clean and quiet time was enforced. They didn't let riffraff in!! We are going to Paradise Lakes in a couple weekends to try it. We camped there years ago once and it was nice. I don't think we will be returning to here with all the mixed reviews! Very s

The lake area and gazebo is beautiful. However, they have NO INTERNET, even though they say they have it. Also, the entire RV Park had NO POWER for over 3 hours last night. It was after 5pm and there was no one in the office. Therefore, we called the emergency after hours number to see what was going on and got a recording that said "let us know who you want to talk to and they might call you." There was no way to contact anyone in charge of the park. We ended up having to figure out who was the electricity provider for the area and call them and make believe we were the office to get information about the power. They told is it would be back on in 1.5 hours and it was. We left 2 voicemails, a textmessage, and an email to the front office and no one ever responded last night or today.

My family and I have been going there for years. We have not been happy with how the facilities have had less each time we go. They do not offer the same things as the previous owners. Just in this past year their management has changed over several times. This past Halloween weekends proved to be an interesting one when I went to check out. I will just say that we will not be going back after they tried to charge me for damage on the golf cart we rented for 1 day! Sad because they lost a good customer.

Wont be back. Facilities are lacking things are closed. The pool is dirty and there’s no enforcement of the quiet hours. In fact it’s a hillbilly free-for-all - all night long yeah most people don’t need this nonsense. Better places to stay by a mile.

We have a permanent site at this campground for our family — my husband, daughter, and me — and we couldn’t be happier. We have felt welcomed by the friendly community. We’ve made wonderful friends here and look forward to spending time together every season. The activities are fun. There is something for everyone to enjoy. Whether it’s relaxing at our site or joining in on events, there’s never a dull moment. The staff really cares about creating a great experience for everyone. We’re so glad we chose this place to call our seasonal home. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a family-friendly, fun, and welcoming campground!
