Council Bluff Lake (Wild Boar) Campground

Pretty nice place. Pay to park 5 dollars day use fee. Vault toilets. Nice boat ramp. Caught a few small fish one day, next not a thing.

Completely beautiful here it is $10 basic camping ( price goes up for RVs and double sites) + $3.00 for parking. Had an amazing time hiking the trails and exploring the area, I was impressed by the peacefulness and the beauty of this place but I had forgotten my fishing pole at home the entire time walking around the lake kept seeing bass hit topwater. Will be visiting again mainly to fish

Good location near Council bluff lake with trails. I only wish people had more respect for public property. The vault toilet by my campsite was littered and scattered in the campground were places where people defacated literally 3 feet off the road. Really a sad situation to what could otherwise be a wonderful spot. The boat launch and lake we're really nice but the beach was closed on Tuesday

Horrid. 50 water spigots with no water for several years. No maintenance in a long time. This is the campground & rec area that the National Forest service forgot! If I could have found something that wasn't broken I would have taken a photo.

Awesome and picefull place to camp, we camp on October 13th and it was chilly but you can enjoy a camp fire no mosquitoes a few raccoons at night but nothing crazy
