We spent one night at this remote and rustic campground but wish we’d have stayed a couple more nights. Lovely and quiet. I think there was only one other camper there while we were. Dense trees, table, fire ring. No electricity or water, or dump station available, so be prepared for that.

★★★☆☆ 3.0 Justin Brummage · Jun 2025

A very long drive down a very narrow road not suitable for normal cars passing let alone RVs or larger vehicles, additionally the road is very poorly maintained with several large potholes. The campground itself seemed very nice however spots are limited to only 5-6 spots that seem to have long term people staying in a few of them. Restroom is a vault toilet that was very dirt and not stocked. If you’re lucky you might be able to get a spot but the odds aren’t very good and it’s a long drive out a very narrow road.

This was a lovely campground. However it is on a long gravel road that is full of potholes. The sites are spacious with mossy trees and wild raspberry bushes throughout.

Super quiet, about 9 sites spread out okay. No water, primitive sites with tables and fire pit only and a pit toilet. Hoh river is about a 10 min walk. Drive in is dusty and longish, but doable in most cars. It's super dusty now in early August with some mist, but I imagine this place gets super slimy in rain. Bring all your trash out with you. Bring your Discover pass, pen, and paper, it was out of registration envelopes.

Nestled in a grove of tall trees are nine large, well spaced campsites with picnic tables, fire rings, and a vault toilet. There's no fee if you are a WA Discovery Pass holder (just $35 annually). Expect it to be crouded here in the summer, or to have it virtually to yourself off season.
