Cool City Motel

The location is great, close to parks and downtown. But out just a little bit so it a quiet area. The bed was comfortable and room size was good, bathroom a little small but good working order. Suggestions for the remodel, room darkening window coverings, more electrical outlets with usb ports. Also a couple chairs to sit in, the room was big enough. Always look to support local businesses, looking forward to the changes.

Our room was small but adequate. There was a standard size bed, a sofa, 2 chairs, a "dresser", an older TV set. No bad odors. Room was clean. This motel is older and has not been extensively remodeled or updated. It is not going to suit someone who must have those things....newer bathroom fixtures, decor, etc. But my husband and I found it to be perfectly adequate. Big shower. Plenty of hot water. Good water pressure. A/C works great. Room had a screen door so you could leave the "main" door open and get fresh air which is always nice in my book. Things look older and more dated...furnishings, decor, fixtures, etc. Very budget friendly.

I heard this motel was under new management, and what a difference it makes. The rooms are being renovated and the entire place is much cleaner. It's a huge step in the right direction and a much more pleasant place to stay. Keep up the great work!

Stayed here 30 years ago, was rotten then still sucks now, new owners rude service, dont ever come here!

My wife and I only lasted about 3 hours at this establishment i give 0 stars to. The toilet was filthy, refrigerator had mildew and mold and the bedding was not clean. We know it couldn't be clean because upon our checkout we advised the manager of blood stains on the bed. Also we found signs of an assault as we found a broken bathroom door and blood spatter on the entry door, walls, and floor. I was told I would be refunded nearly 90$ for the horrific experience we had at CoolCity Motel. I really hope a refund will be on my card at some point because the manager did seem very disappointed and apologetic. Either way this was a very sad and time wasting experience on a day we really just needed a break. I owe my wife so much more than a stressful getaway to an unsafe and unsanitary room. Th
