Comfort Suites Roanoke - Fort Worth North

Thank you Karl for the great welcome that made my check in go smoothly. Gysell thanks for going above some beyond to help my experience even better. I was able to take a nice pic of the breakfast room which was really gorgeous even though I missed breakfast because I slept like a baby😊 I love this hotel you can tell that it was built back in the day when they built buildings with real sturdy and strong materials not paper macyhe materials. I love the bathroom door size. Tub has a deep dip in the middle I’m guessing it’s been there since the place was built many decades ago which held water while taking a shower. If they would upgrade the furniture and shower with tub.. this would be a very charming place and for the price gorgeous for sure.

The hotel was nice and breakfast was good, had a bit of an issue with getting clean towels as they only clean rooms every 3 days so had to go to front desk if you needed something and it was not your day for them to service the room. Very good location and close to lots of restaurants and the Roanoke square. Also had a bit of an issue with a toliet being very slow and management did try to correct this when we checked out.

I found a cockroach on my bathroom floor. There are rats running around all over. A dead rat laying in the smoking area. The water dispenser in the gym does not work only room temperature water. I informed the mgr about it six days ago. There was 4 people in the breakfast area and we all wanted to watch news but were told by mgr that we could not change the channel. The employees are all very nice and helpful but the mgmt leaves a lot to be desired. I will be returning toDFW in a month but not staying at this comfort in. I stay at whindham hotels nationwide for work atleast two weeks per month with my crew usually have three rooms so I have an idea of what a well ran hotel is like. Safe travels to all.

Originallt planned Stayed one night (Dec 13–14) arrived past 9pm and left at 12am the experience was extremely disappointing. Front desk staff was not welcoming, and our room key was not activated upon arrival. The first room we were given was clearly used and had a strong, foul odor. The second room also smelled unclean, but after an 18-hour drive and multiple trips back to the desk, we had no choice but to air it out ourselves. The room was poorly maintained: worn furniture, debris under the bed (including condiment packets), and a non-functioning iron. The elevator repeatedly malfunctioned and became stuck multiple times, requiring staff to restart it. Staff young robust woman had rbf, and was curt. The floor in the room came with bits of chips and almonds. I slept on top of the covers. If this place is all you can afford. Sleep in your ride and save the bread.
