Comfort Suites La Porte - Baytown

Positive: This hotel was convenient to our destination location. The staff was friendly and very service oriented. Housekeeping was excellent. The rooms were large. The breakfast and the choices were good. Negative: This location is currently going through renovation. The ice machines not always working.

We had three rooms and all of the rooms were satisfactory except for the normal wear a hotel gets. The hotel has aged and could use some TLC. Wall paper torn. Carpet stained. Again just normal wear I would think. Our biggest gripe was the small pillows in each room. Not a big deal but didn't seem normal for an adult size sleeper. One big plus was the registration desk ladies. They were very professional and helped us feel welcome. Overall, I would rate this as a typical Comfort Suites hotel. I would stay again if we were in La Porte.

Room was in bad shape, floor damage near window, waterfall off the roof by my window, sink sprayed water sideways, first room smelled of smoke and it was the only handicap room..., electrical buzzing coming from outlet next to bed, microwave plug had to be put in just right to make connection, pillows were tiny and there were stains on the couch. Room 211 was smokey and 209 had all the issues listed above. Hot tub was not working for the rest of the season due to renovations.

My family and I, celebrating my children birthdays at Sylvan Beach and we had a great time staying at Comfort Suites Hotel , La Port! They are kid friendly and have the best Breakfast on that side of Texas! Come and stay at Comfort Suites Hotel and have a awesome time.

For the purpose of my stay (extended stay for work in the area), the Comfort Suite La Porte matched my needs perfectly. I was well pleased with the friendliness of the staff and the overall conditions of the accommodations. I would stay there again for work related needs.
