Comfort Suites Dry Ridge

My mom and I stayed at Comfort Suites in Dry Ridge, KY as we drove in to see the Ark Encounter. The facility was a very short distance away, which was perfect. The parking lot is well lit which I believe improves security. Every staff member we encountered was kind. The room was fantastic, open space with couch, refrigerator, new TV/wifi, beds and bedding were ideal. I would've loved to use the indoor pool but ran out of time. The continental breakfast was a nice addition to our stay and coffee availability throughout the day.|My mom forgot to pack her tooth brush and they provided one to us at no cost which was so appreciated!|I don't want to make this negative but for consideration, would advise the bed was quite high for my 87 yr old mom who has functional limitations, making ac

We stayed at the Hampton Inn and Comfort Suites in our trip to Dry Ridge, KY to visit the Ark Encounter. In the end, our entire party of 6 preferred the Comfort Suites over the Hampton. Deb, at the Comfort Suites front desk went out of her way to accommodate us. Not only were the rooms better but the staff. Will definitely stay here again whenever we revisit the Ark.

Large clean rooms, Beds & pillows were very comfortable. It was quiet, nice location near the highway, but not so close that it was noisy. Walmart down the road made things super handy.Regina was wonderful who did the breakfast which was fabulous. The biscuits & gravy were excellent, with the biscuits kept warm in an oven, never seen that at a hotel before.Robert at the front desk was very nice & professional. Hiding an elf to find for extra hotel points was a fun touch. Will definitely be staying here regularly as our halfway stop to Tennessee from Michigan.

We have a certified service dog and in our room she found chocolates, cereals and some pills under the bedside tables. We had a big scare because I thought she had eaten chocolate that is very toxic to dogs. I called the counter in the morning to clean the floor and they just changed the towels. In the afternoon, when he came back to the hotel, we noticed that the chocolates were in the same place. We talked to Page and she immediately changed our room verifying first that the other room was safe for our service dog and clean. She is a great resource for this hotel. So kind, responsible and proactive. For the rest, it is a great place to stay. Breakfast, location, rooms layouts are perfect.

I had issues with my booking though Hotels.com (wrong date!) and Page went above and beyond to help us check in quickly and spoke to Hotels com to make sure I wasn't charged twice. She was helpful, kind, and savvy. Our room was extremely large, quiet, clean, and comfortable. Breakfast had something for everyone and was well stocked. This hotel has been recently renovated and was a great option right off I-75. Great location with a Walmart and fast food nearby if needed.
