Comfort Suites Daytona Beach-Speedway

Positive: The rate Good for an overnight stay.. Very spacious.. Negative: When cleaning the room staff should remember to clean under the beds.

This is my second stay, and I’m a local resident. My first experience was beyond belief I could not believe how spacious, how well thought out and planned the room layout is. It was only myself, easily could’ve slept, live more people. Everything about the room was impeccable so clean so comfortable. Front desk staff was more than atentative to my needs… that’s the reason why I stayed a second time and again flawless, everything met my expectations as in my first visit

While the renovated and improved facilities, lobby, room are great, the hotel is poorly managed and it shows in many ways. Room service is inadequate. For example I stayed 5 nights and not once was my bed made. I reported it to the gentleman in flip flops who worked at the front desk during the afternoon and evening shift, and nothing happened. I had to go to the front desk repeatedly to request coffee packs, soap and towels because these items were never replenished by housekeeping. While the stay included breakfast, the menu is the same every morning: an egg pocket with cheese and turkey sausage patties. It never varied and they lacked condiments like hot sauce or salsa, shredded cheese, or granola and raisins for the yogurt. I asked one of the breakfast employees during my fourth mor

I would've left 5 stars but upon arriving to check in I was notified that they canceled my reservation because they couldn't get in contact with me. I was driving to the hotel and occasionally I don't receive calls. I booked my room 1 year in advance as I need an ADA room. The hotel put us in a room that just didn't work for me. I proceeded to ask a young lady the next morning for corporate office phone number. Sophia took it upon herself to make things right. She found us a room that would accommodate my disability. She not only saved my stay but left a grand impression on why I will return to Daytona comfort suites. Sophia repaired the mistake that some moron decided to cancel my reservation without just cause. A very comfortable place to stay. The staff was helpful and friendly and the rooms generous and clean. We scored a small suite with a den area. The bed was comfort and well made. A very decent hotel for the money. Complimentary breakfast also.
