Comfort Inn & Suites Tyler North

Booked online and wasnt sure what to expect of price i paid under 60 total. What a pleasant suprise! Young man at dedk was great! Room was super clean bed linens wonderful spacious room quiet and bed very comfy. I stay in hotels 20 plus nights a month and was the best value i have seen thus far. In fact, much cleaner than most 100 /night places i stay. Breakfast had numerous options. Clearly the new owners/management are trying hard w the switch over from Holiday/IHG to Comfort/Choice Highly recommend Ron W 1/5/26

Positive: It was originally very quiet Negative: The hotel was relatively loud with allot of banging doors, in disrepair still from remodeling and not very clean.

The hotel is being remodeled, and the lobby area is very nice. The guest room appeared to be clean. The walls are paper thin, and we could hear every noise in the hallway and the room next door. When we checked in, we were told there would be no coffee served in the breakfast room. If we had coffee, we had to make it in our room and bring it to the breakfast room. There was coffee but no creamer, sugar, etc. The parking lot is well lit and we never felt unsafe. Just was not the standard we are used to with this hotel chain.

This hotel is not ready for guests. It’s advertised as newly remodeled, but it’s still missing some basic essentials. The elevator was out of service, which made it very difficult for older adults to reach their rooms on the second floor. Several lights in the bathroom were not working, leaving it poorly lit. The room doors were old and didn’t feel secure. Breakfast was not as advertised — no coffee or juice, and the limited fruit was clearly not fresh. Overall, the property needs more attention and updates before it can be considered ready for guests.

Checkin in was easy. Hotel is clean front desk spatel was awesome. Booked for a week unfortunately my job changed areas. Let her know as soon as i found out she charged for one night...even though i didnt make it from dallas to tyler until after 11am. Thats customer service. For any coming to Tyler this is the place to stay.
