Comfort Inn & Suites Sikeston I-55

If I could rate it a zero I would. The rooms were smelly and dirty. There were fake eye lashes from previous guest in bathroom, tv broke, mirrors smeary, hair in sink and on toilet seat, elevator dirty, and imagine what we can't see or don't know..like did they change sheets or vaccum floor?. I rated 3 for service only because the front fesk guy was nice but he just is an emplyee...The owner told me I couldn't stay there any more because they could never be up to my standards. I had stayed there before but I forgot and had complained about room.that time as well. Not taking accountability, blaming me. I guess there standard is not to clean bathroom after someone stays because obviously fake eyelashes and hair are hard to miss.

The room was clean and tastefully decorated. We did not hear any other guests during the night. There were no unpleasant smells in the hotel, whereas some other hotels we have stayed in have had strong odors of food and/or marijuana. We appreciate being able to bring our dog along.

The last two times I stayed there, the rooms were dirty. In wentzville, I told the front desk guy that the room smelled and the shower was backed up and there was hair on the shower walls ,he was supposed to come look or give a discount but he never came up and I told the lady next day but nothing happened. Then this time , there was dust all over the alarm clock and the lamp shades and the toilet had yellow gunk on the base of toilet seat. The shower had black something on ground and again someone else's hair on shower walls. I am a member and ive stayed at other locations and it was much better but wentzville and sickeston were dirtish. And the eggs arent real, no oatmeal at the sikeston one. It was clean and safe. Big hot breakfast , pool, hot tub and sauna. Kids were happy and we all had fun and good night sleep . Will stay here again on our return trip

Bed and sheets seemed clean. We brought our two cats with us and underneath the bed was easily accessible for them. They got a white powder all over their fur and we had to shove bed sheets in the openings to keep them out but it didn’t work well. We had to bathe them multiple time during our stay because of the powder. We suspect it to be some sort of pesticide for bed bugs. We will be taking them to the vet tomorrow because they have been acting lethargic and sneezing frequently. We stayed in room 104.
