Comfort Inn & Suites Seguin

The staff was fine, the hotel itself has definitely gone down since my last stay. The rooms smelled, the elevator was worse, vending machine broken, the paint in the bathroom was peeling off around the tub and mirrors, the screen on the window was falling off, the shower curtain was useless and the entire floor was saturated by the time you finished your shower. The breakfast was cluttered and the coffee was BAD. ||Positives, was only $111, the water was hot, TV worked, air worked and plumbing/ electrical worked. Couldn't stay here for a vacation, but one night was workable. You get what you pay for though. ||Needs serious TLC.

Price is good but no care is taken when performing maintenance on the rooms. Black colored mold in the bathroom, broken tiles, mirror frame is cheaply made with a paper veneer which is peeling away, the bathroom hair dryer did not work and USB ports next to the bed did not charge. The bed seemed clean which is nice, of course expected, and the TV worked perfectly so that's important too. The elevator stinks which is why I guess there are multiple bars of soap on the ceiling grid to try to disguise the mustiness. The juice and bagels were tasty.

Don’t let the pictures online fool you! The rooms are not taken care of… moldy walls full of holes. The room smelled so bad of it as well. The towels were stale. The bed linens were dusty. I’m so glad we always pack those items for travel. The toilet was lopsided, probably because of the mold problems between floors

If you have a little extra money to stay at a better place please do your self and family a favor we stayed thinking it looked nice because of the pictures we were catfish it was awful!! dirty and someone tried to go into are room if it wasn't because we put the top lock they would've had entered.

If any other room is like the one we stayed in, it and/they need work. In our room the sink had a cracked bowl and had no stopper. The bathroom hollow core door had a six inch long hole in it. The bathroom mirror was delaminating. There was tile missing on the floor trim and the caulking was terrible. The smell emanating from the heat/air unit while it ran was musty at best. We stayed at two hotels in large cities the previous nights that I rated at the top of the scale and they were both less expensive. The saving grace was the young man that checked us in. He was friendly.
