Comfort Inn & Suites Madisonville

Mack at the front desk made booking with Comfort Inn Madisonville worth it. We had minor issues with the original room to which Mack went above and beyond to accommodate my family. Thank you for your hospitality Mack. I hope they know the quality of representative they have with you on the staff.

The room, staff, amenities and anything else I may be forgetting were wonderful. The 2 star rating, however, stems from the owner/management having no regard for patrons privacy or constitutional rights. By allowing police/k9 units on private property to run tags and conduct sniff searches on patrons vehicles is completely unacceptable to me. It’s as simple as management conveying to local police they do not want them on their property harassing customers. Don’t take my money and then throw me to the wolves!! I’ll not be back.

It was an enjoyable stay, the room was clean and comfortable, the breakfast very satisfying, and the staff friendly. My only dislike is the change/ hold on my credit card. I paid in full before my stay, I feel if you are going to put a charge and hold on a room it should be reimbursed upon check out. I checked out at 8:30 this morning, it is14 hours later and I still have not been reimbursed. Not good!

Positive: The staff are typically very nice and accommodating. Rooms are usually very clean and the hotel in general seems well maintained. Location is closed to restaurants and shopping. Negative: Breakfast is always terrible. Very little variety, food is not cooked well and they usually run out of hot breakfast items by 6:30 (breakfast starts at 6:00am).

Kelly at the front desk is one of the best Front Desk employees I've ever interacted with. I've worked in hotel industry for many years and that position is very challenging. Her demeanor and helpfulness is beyond the standard. The hotel was convenient and affordable. Hot tub and pool was perfect for the children. Staff was amazing. Absolutely amazing. You cannot underestimate the value of a staff that makes a visit memorable. We are so happy to have visited. Again, Kelly at the front desk was overly nice to myself and my family. Thank you so much
