Comfort Inn & Suites Independence

Positive: Fairly quiet area of town. Negative: The lobby and breakfast area were very hot upon arrival, ac might have been fixed because it seemed like it was a little cooler next day. But it was still very warm. The jets in the hot tub didnt work, found some trash in the room as well.

Great hotel experience! Room was clean, staff was very nice and had personal recommendations for local food and activities. Did not have the breakfast (as I was in a hurry), but they let me grab some packaged items to take to go! The only reason I give it a four out of five was because of the door at the front of the building not working properly when we were there.

We had an excellent experience. I brought a group of high school debaters. The staff were friendly, professional, and accomodating. Made my life easy. Everything went great. Shout out to Tyler, the night desk clerk, whom I found myself pointing out to my students as an example because he was extremely competent and friendly. Comfort Inn helped my team be successful.

The ladies who run the place are so friendly and fabulous. The beds are very comfy. The whole property was clean and well-kept. We needed some local information, and the gals there referred us to a great restaurant, laundromat, and grocery store. They lent me a scrub brush and bucket so I could clean the mud from my shoes after hiking all day. They were the BEST! And they had some homemade cupcakes in the morning that were to die for!

Automatic front doors do not operate and the breakfasts are terrible. Over cooked green eggs are not my thing. Staff were very friendly and I loved the little black and white kitty cat that hangs out in front. Someone please take care of that cat! Winter is coming.
