Comfort Inn & Suites Fort Worth - Fossil Creek

I rarely leave reviews; however, I feel it is important to share my experience so that other travelers can make an informed decision. I selected this hotel based on its Google reviews, but my stay did not reflect the positive feedback posted online. Notably, many of the favorable reviews appear to be anonymous, which raises concerns about their authenticity. Unfortunately, the overall condition and service fell well below expectations. Most staff members were unprofessional and unfriendly, with the exception of the woman who assisted me at check-in, who was courteous. The property itself was not well maintained. Positive: THe room was very accomodating for a family of four. The front office was very pleasant answered any question , Totally enjoyed the full fresh breakfast for my four day stay. My grandson enjoyed the indoor pool which was very nice for the hot weather. Negative: I could not find anything I did not for the money I spent.

Front desk lady was pretty unapproachable and less than understanding. Apparently you're not supposed to have any type of drinks in the pool area. The sign inside the pool just says no glass food or alcohol. There is absolutely no type of seating area outside ( a first for me). It smells weird. Especially the 3rd floor hallway. The elevator is possibly the slowest I've ever encountered. Took a full 10 minutes with my arms loaded to get to the 3rd floor to even pick me up. Oh and the rail inside of it is loose and not stable at all for the elderly ( my FIL). There's chunks of walls at the corners all busted. I don't understand, this hotel was built in 2011, last renovated in 2022. It shouldn't feel so run down. All in all, far less than the experience I should have had, especially for the

The staff is very friendly. Breakfast was really good, always fresh and tasty. Rooms clean and beds comfortable. Ample parking. Many food choices within walking distance.

The hotel was great. The staff was great. The breakfast was great. The mattress was terrible. The mattress was hard and uncomfortable. My wife and I both could not sleep. It was 3 in the morning and I had to use 3 pillows to lay on and I was finally fall asleep sleep for a few hours.
