Comfort Inn & Suites Alva

We had a wonderful stay. I was in town for a funeral and the hem had come out of my dress. I asked for some tape or pen to do a quick fix as I was on my way out the door, but Lilly did better than that. She pulled out a sewing kit hemmed up my dress in just a few minutes. I’ve never been more impressed with service at a hotel! Our room was clean, bed was comfortable and staff was wonderful.

Staff is friendly and courteous. Location is ideal near Walmart and the boulevard. Very clean and well kept. Breakfast is kept fresh and pool/fitness areas are maintained well!

Hotel was very clean and up-dated decor, staff were professional and courteous. Very nice continental breakfast. Room was clean and spacious, very nice size bathroom and shower. Water pressure in the shower wasn't the greatest, but could just be our personal preference. The air conditioner was noisy- it did keep the room cool but the fan motor was loud and made clank-like noises every time it kicked on. And the toilet didn't flush real well; had to hold the handle down prolonged periods to get it to flush. Sometimes even requiring flushing twice. Room 213.

We paid a few extra dollars for a suite. It was not a suite like we are used to having. It was just an extra big room with a sofa which was ok because we were able to keep everything out. But not what was expected. The room was clean and quiet, breakfast was nothing fancy, and the beds were comfy. HVAC was hotel noisy and impossible to get right. No TV menu was available and the choices were limited. The room lighting options, except for the bath, were so awful that they have to be mentioned. The staff was pleasant and helpful, and they tried their best to resolve a Wi-Fi problem.

Ms. Lily and her team have gone over the top to make sure our basketball teams are taken care of. The hotel is clean and well stocked to meet our needs. We will definitely be back.
