Free breakfast, although it was the same daily and not varied. The room was clean, the hotel smelled good in General except 1 day that seemed like they mopped the lobby with sticky vinegar 🤢. The bed was amazing! Although it's near the highway, you'd never know it, very quiet. The towel and wash rags were super soft but they don't dry anything as they feel like you're drying off with a pair of polyester leisure pants from the 1970s. The staff was very polite and helpful. Check in and out was a breeze and the shampoo, conditioner and lotion were all great, not overwhelming in scent and not greasy. I was so happy with my stay at Rockvale in comparison to my stay at Columbia’s comfort inn and will be staying there again. I came in later in the day and the front desk gentleman was so nice. Provided me a small snack when I arrived which was so nice. I asked for a late check out as I always do because I arrive late at night and he just didn’t make it an issue he just did. He also told me check out was at noon when i believe it’s actually at 11. So he kinda gave me the wrong time. Next morning I found out that a note was not left on my room for late checkout however how It was said was so similar to how the front desk person at Columbia said it that I’m pretty sure this is just how comfort inns work. Don’t do it!!!! I stayed here for a Spooky Nook Tournament- we needed a last minute hotel. I have to say I’ve never been more disappointed. The floors felt filmy & my shoes left prints, the carpets needed washing- felt like I couldn’t take my shoes off. The couch was raggedy with hanging threads & pilled rough fabric. The tub didn’t drain well. The sink had a constant drip. The room they gave me wasn’t properly cleaned, I saw visible dirt around the windows & heater unit, one drawer had leftover napkins & ketchup packets, there were grimy handprints on the windows & backboard and there was a general unclean smell throughout the hotel. The white towels were dingy and yellowed. When I showed the front desk, they offered a refund or another room that felt a little cleaner. I will

If I could give this hotel 0 stars, I would! 0/10 would not recommend to anyone. How this establishment is not closed for code and health violations is beyond me. Our stay was 10 minutes long! Even that was too long! When we walked in at 1st glance it was not horrible, but was hit by a smell that I could only compare it to the blue liquid in a porti-potty and vinegar. As we checked out the pool, we noticed it was filthy. There was a layer of algae on the floor and walls of the pool. As we got off the elevator to head to our room, the smell was worse with a hint of stale cigarette smoke. There were windows overlooking the pool that had layers of thick dirt covering them.
