Comfort Inn Jamestown South

The absolute highlight of my stay was the service provided by the front desk staff. The agent who assisted me was incredibly helpful and accommodating, making the check-in process seamless and pleasant. Their attentiveness truly made me feel welcome and demonstrated a high level of customer care. ​Unfortunately, the room itself was a significant drawback. It was quite small and gave the immediate impression of being old and badly worn. The lighting was particularly poor, which made working or even reading difficult, lending a dim and unwelcoming atmosphere to the space. Don't stay here! We stayed at 6 other Comfort Inns during a recent roadtrip and they were all 5/5. This is the worst hotel we've ever stayed at. It is worn out with some nicks in the walls. The worst part is they allow guests to bring in beer and party loudly. Adult men and women were walking through the hall on first floor making a lot of noise. We went to front desk to complain at 10:20pm. I think desk staff were intimidated by the work crews who stayed there. Sometime after 11 pm it finally settled down. We maybe got 3 hrs sleep because they were up early to head out. Room next door had a cooler of beer. These guests acted like the hotel was just for their own private party.

Tried to check in late and this location has some automated attendant feature in which i have to talk to a box to check in. Three times walked to the room and back because they could not get the key to code properly. Finally they called a desk clerk, who had been around behind the counter all along to get us room keys. I sincerely hope this is not the new standard for checking in with Choice Hotels. I would not go back to this location again, when the actual people behind the counter ignore you and force you to work with a machine

The rooms need more attention. The bathroom had been redone but floor molding was missing. A bedside lamp was missing. The brown wall had been scratched, showing white paint. The curtain in the room was off a hook and hung at an angle. The bar used to open the curtains was not attached to the curtain.

1. The bathroom has peeling wallpaper in both rooms we booked. 2. Both rooms also had various other spots on walls that were dirty from various possibilities, food, beauty products, who knows... 3. Of course at the end of the stay we found a CHICKEN BONE under the side of the bed... an oldddd chicken bone, it had been there a while. 4. One room did not have a luggage rack provided. 5. The remote/TV was annoyingly slow or just could not communicate properly to one another. 6. No where for someone to hang their clothes if needing to be steamed/prepped for event/outing (I brought my own steamer). 7. Decorative curtains in both rooms seemed to be dangling, broken off their holder on the ends. 8. The shower heads need cleaned as it appeared to have normal build up that had not been removed. Ov
