Comfort Inn Hickory/Conover

Great place to stay. Clean quiet. Easy to find off highway. We are in the handicap room. If you are in a wheelchair it is not a roll in shower. It's a tub with low handles. Room is spacious. The staff is very nice and helpful. We would definitely stay again.

I was very pleased with this hotel, I stay at quite a few hotels every year. Some are very expensive and some are absolutely dumps. For the price of this hotel it was very good. The breakfast, the cleanliness, the quality of sheets and mattress. Overall I was very surprised. I was expecting much less. It was also very quiet. That is always subject to who the other guest are.

I save 5 stars for luxury places. This was just a place to stay for a few hours on a roadtrip. It was a good stay with comfortable rooms and bedding. It was nothing fancy but certainly adequate. ||They had a diverse breakfast choices including hot food. It was good.|.

I was very pleased with the quality of the sheets and beds, the cleanliness of the room we had, the very large food selection for breakfast. For the cost of the room. It is not a $500 a night hotel, but I have stayed in some of those that were worse than this room. The room I had was remodeled. I would not say recently as you could tell there was some wear and tear. But it was not old and in need of repair by anymeans. My friends hate their decision to save a few dollars to stay at the hotel across the way. No one else liked their hotel except for those of us who paid a little more for a better room. 100% say its worth it. Really just in breakfast alone, makes it worth the cost difference. Bacon, sausage, eggs, biscuits and gravy, potatoes, on the hot line as well as make your own waffles

This place needs some serious upgrading! It’s very dingy. There’s a strong odor of citrus throughout the hallways, & in the rooms. The middle curtain on the window was broken at the top, the lampshades were sliced and missing the nuts to keep them in place and the outlets on the lamps were so loose we couldn’t use them to charge our phones. The TV did not work properly. The tub wasn’t draining while taking a shower, the mirror, which looked fairly new- was falling apart and to top it all off … the blanket that was on top of the sheet had someone’s nasty potent armpit odor on it. That’s totally disgusting, & unacceptable!! Wash the dag on blankets/comforters when y’all wash the sheets instead of spraying them with that stinky deodorizer- it doesn’t help!! That is so unsanitary, & just wrong
