Comfort Inn Harriman

Very clean and tidy. Staff is amazing, very hospitable, helpful, and accommodating. Breakfast area is superb, available early for us early rising working folks. Spend a lot of weekends in Harriman at Horse Shows. Wouldn’t stay or recommend anywhere else. My clients stay with you as well and feel the same as I do. Thanks for a great home away from home!! I have to say the staff, was fantastic, professional and friendly. The grounds, location and room itself was very good. The only complaint, was extremely loud train noise almost every hour. I understand this is beyond the hotel staff. But kinda reminded me of the hotel scene from the movie My cousin Vinny.

Don’t recommend. Room smelled musty and really irritated my sinuses and allergies Thinking the musty smell was from not having an exhaust fan in the bathroom. Carpet and furniture was sketchy like we didn’t want to sit on furniture or walk on the carpet. Room just felt dirty. We also had a bit of a lady bug infestation. We saw several on the wall near the ceiling and in the bathroom. The keycards were old and one didn’t work and had to get re programmed. They stressed over and over again to not put your key card near your phone and I overheard the woman at the desk being rude to another guest because she apparently had to reset her key card more than once because it was near her phone. The breakfast looked ok but there weren’t many options if you wanted to just grab something to go.

The beds were super hard and the pillows flattened out as soon as you laid your head on them. The shower also was janked up and sprayed hard and funky. We couldn’t change the setting of the shower head because it was about to fall off of the fixture.

I had a stop over in Hillman and stayed overnight at Comfort Inn. ||I broke my toe by hitting it on the door. ||Patty from the reception desk, packed ice, called the EMS and assisted me when I returned to get back to my room.||That morning I hobbled downstairs as I could not drive and requested an extended check out due to my circumstances. Nick assured me it would not be a problem. ||Nick then helped me to get my breakfast, fixed my coffee and ensured I had everything I needed. ||Nick even come up to my room to bring my luggage downstairs and set me up in the breakfast room to wait for my transportation. ||Nick continued to check in with me to see if I needed anything. ||Nick and Patty are truly amazing and compassionate people. ||Thank you for taking care of me when I was there.
