Comfort Inn Castro Valley

Nice, clean with decent breakfast. Really good coffee and juice. Not watered down like many of the hotels do. Comfortable bed. Just a little noisy. Could hear people in hall way and upstairs too. Other then the noise, it was a nice stay!!

We stayed two nights, clean hotel.|Breakfast included - enough choices to start the day. |Parking Garage - not sure it is secured at night -|Access from garage to rooms directly without use of key- bit of a safety issue for us. |It served the purpose as a place to rest our head for our day trip into SanFran |Remote wouldn’t work when we arrived.|Called the front desk around 9pm - phone rang and rang- we gave up and went to bed. They fixed it while we were out the following day after informing front desk in the morning. |Lemon water offered in lobby - unsure how fresh it was and when it was replenished. Lemons seemed very soggy, and old at the bottom of the water both days. |Overall, this hotel provided basic needs for an overnight stay.

I stay in this hotel frequently. Generally it is great. However, there is this old grouchy lady out front desk here all the time who doesn't want to get out of her chair so she gives you every reason in the book to not help you. I thought it was me until late last night another guest said she treated him the same way. I'm a big believer. If you don't want to do your job, give it to someone else. Unbelievable horrible stay unbelievably horrible. Nothing is available. She wouldn't even let us use the bathroom according to another gentleman. The lobby bathroom. She was so mad she had to let me in That's cuz she doesn't want to get out of her chair and do anything. It's about time to retire her out. She makes this place unpleasant

I would love to give a shout out to this comfort inn. Even though we didn't stay here. They allowed us to use their parking lot so we had a close access to the Castro Valley light Parade. They definitely didn't have to. And it was against there rules. But they understood that we had a few disabled people in our party that couldn't walk far. When I'm in town again I'm definitely going to stay here. There hospitality was a 10/10.

We stay often when we’re traveling for work. The staff in the evening is GREAT ,because that’s who we deal with most often.They are wonderful. The rooms are clean. They are tentative to our needs. I give them 11 out of 10.
