Colonial RV Park

Traveling for work with husband. Campground is in the middle of being sold, so not sure if new owners will keep campground or close it to built something else. However, our stay here was very nice. The current owner was quick to answer questions or help with anything you need. It loses a star because there were no showers and laundry facility but there is a Laundromat right across the street. Only thing is that it smells like wet dog as it is also a dog washer inside the laundromat, yet it is easy access. Although it's right by a busy highway the noise was not bad at all. I would definitely stay here again. Hope if new owner keeps the campground, they do more upgrades for a very pleasant stay.

This campground is fine for a 1 night stay (which is what we did) but not for a long stay. It was unique. It was full hookup but it was small and close to a road. More of a place to just use as a place to sleep, not a place to camp. No firepit, no shower house or bathrooms. There was a large gazebo in the middle. We never saw anyone else around the whole time we were there.

At first we were a little sketched out when we called to see if they had a spot for a night for our RV. It was after hours and the man who answered said we could pay via Venmo. Once we arrived, which was later in the evening, there was a woman standing in the middle of the road and a couple of other people walking back and forth on the street. However, our stay was comfortable and we had a great experience with the owner. Very happy with our stay and would stay here again.

I stay here every time I come to Bismarck, for pleasure or on business. I’ve always found the owner friendly and accommodating. I love the location because it’s right on the Bismarck-Mandan Bike trail. I can get on the trail and ride to Fort Lincoln State Park and over the bridge to Bismarck. Accessing many eating places. It’s fairly quiet and centrally located. I love it and therefore give a five star rating

Just utilize the RV park here. No showers or restrooms, but then most all RV's already have these, so not a negative factor. Electric is dependable, equipment appears maintained, as well as the grass/trees in the campground. Very nicely located and at a very decent price compared to other area campgrounds. I'll use it again for next Bismarck area trip. Mind you, no kid friendly playground equipment, this place ideal for those just passing through for reasonable priced overnight stay, or for extended stay work-related campers, which appears to be many of the residents here.
