Colonial Motel

This is a very decent place to stay for the price. The room was old looking but clean, there was no evidence of any bugs or rodents. Everything in the room was functional. The staff was polite. The price was right.

The Colonial Motel has some positives — it’s affordable, feels safer outside than you’d expect, and the AC/heat and fridge work well. Towels and trash bags are refreshed daily, which is helpful. On the downside, the rooms need serious cleaning. Cockroaches are an issue, and I can’t say the sheets are reliably changed between guests. Another concern is the TV setup: a kids’ channel is directly next to adult content, which is not okay if you have children. It’s not the worst place I’ve stayed, but the upkeep and attention to detail really need improvement.”

Very reasonable price. Safe atmosphere. You feel like there should be some kind of shady stuff going on outside but there never is. Rooms are NOT clean. Cockroach problem. Sheets are not changed daily. No proof they're changed between guests. They do offer clean towels and trash bags daily. Small fridge in room. Great heating/AC. My friend loves this place for whatever reason so I've been here often. Be careful if you have children, if you're dialing through the channels on the television, the next channel past Nickelodeon is a porn channel! Adding insult to injury, it plays the same movie over and over again featuring an old dude that looks like the Tall Man from Phantasm.

I stayed for 7 months while transitioning from another state and it was great. The owners were professional, thorough, and considerate. It was clean and quiet. And they even lowered my price a little because I was a good customer. Will definitely consider them first if need be in the future and highly recommend to those needing a temporary place.

I was in the room for 10 minutes and found 20 roaches and decided to leave they refused to give me my 65$ back and would only refund 35$. I paid 30$ to see roaches, we didn't even mess up the bed. Stay far far away from this dump rates are ridiculous 65 a night and the staff are ignorant. I had stayed there before in the past 2 weeks and no issues but when i had a problem they didn't do what was needed to make me a happy customer. I wouldn't recommend this hotel to a homeless person. They need to get a exterminator and some respect.
