Colonial Inn

For a frugal budget, and quick stop passing through, Colonial Inn motel was reasonably priced, required no deposit, and dog friendly for a fee of $10. The motel and room modest and older, but it was clean, the staff friendly and not one incident of disturbance or safety concerns.

We stayed there on Feb 24th. Turned out to be a pleasant experience. A little dated, but met all of our needs. There was one big improvement that could and should be made. To take a shower, one must be well braced. The bottom of the tub is curved and slick when wet. I would recommend either tub appliques, or a bath mat. Overall it was a nice and clean experience.

This place is centrally located for restaurants convenience stores laundry and shopping, always friendly people here, always clean rooms.

So far my friend and I have stayed here twice and both times the people who checked us in were very kind and I like that. The bedroom was nice and comfy. The Internet wasn't the best but it was good. The tv worked well. The only thing I have to say was that the bathtub creaked really loudly when I got in after I got home from work which didn't particularly bother me after it happened

I came in late on a snowy night not knowing what to expect. I just needed a place to crash. I was charged a low price for a room and I thought, uh oh, that's pretty cheap. I was pleasantly surprised to find a clean room, a decent bed and shower, TV and WiFi that worked, and no problems to speak of. The lady at the counter was very nice. I felt like I got a great deal. This isn't a fancy hotel. It's not fancy, but it's clean and has the essentials. This is a nice place.
